Cincinnati, Ohio

Well, it was back to the 'Nati the weekend of September 24th to celebrate the nuptials of our good friends, Blaine and Laina! 

Johnnie and Blaine met and became friends when they were commuting from Cincinnati to Columbus twice a week for business school at Ohio State.  As soon as they found out we would still be in the U.S. for their wedding, Blaine asked Johnnie to stand with him as a groomsman in the wedding.

The wedding was wonderful, Laina looked absolutely beautiful, and the groom didn't look so bad himself.  :)

The night after the wedding, most of our old "Monday Night Dinner" group got together at Johnny and Gwen's house.  We missed you, Kreena!

While we were all together, we celebrated Sarah's (belated) birthday.

Gwen and I were sooo excited to have a reason to do some baking together...full-size cupcakes with mini, matching cupcake bites!

Johnnie had to leave on Sunday to fly back to Missouri for work.  As usual, I stayed a couple extra days to hang out with friends.  On Tuesday, Gwen and I went to meet our friends' new baby boy, Siddharth!  Congratulations Niti and Josh!!

Look how tiny he was!  I love how the cats are keeping a close eye on their mom (and the new stranger who is stealing all of her attention).  :)

As always, it was a great trip to Cincinnati.  It gets harder to leave every time, not knowing if it will be the last visit.  Hopefully we'll get at least one more in before we head to Malaysia!
