Well...it's finally time for the old blog to get a face lift. "Where in the World are Johnnie & Katherine" just isn't appropriate for us anymore (since we are back Stateside) and "Where in the United States of America are Johnnie & Katherine" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
LOL - living our lives, laughing out loud. Now, this blog title fits us. That's how we roll. :)
Change is good. It's good for blogs. It's good for life. It's especially good when two single people who are perfect for one another change their lives to become one family. That's just what our dear friends, Kreena and Bob (or K-Bob), did the weekend of April 23rd.
Johnnie lived with Bob for years (including the ones when we first began dating). Bob and Kreena met shortly before our wedding in 2008. I loved Kreena right away and pretty much told Bob that if he didn't invite Kreena as his date, I was going to invite her anyways! As it turned out, I did not have to take matters into my own hands.
Kreena and Bob's wedding took place in Cleveland, but the festivities began earlier that week in Cincinnati. The first event I attended was Kreena's mehndi party. There was delicious food, great company, and all of the girls got their hands decorated with henna.
Kreena sat for HOURS getting henna applied, as the bride's design is very intricate. Apparently, the darker and more detailed the design, the better.

The Payne family. If you look very closely, Gwen had both of her boys' names hidden in her henna. :)
